How we write and check our guides
Interview advice is only useful if you can trust it. These are the rules every page on this site follows.
Who writes the pages
Guides and question pages are written by Can Garip, the founder of Offermic, and carry his byline. We do not invent authors or reviewers. When a qualified reviewer checks a page, their name appears on it; until then, no reviewer is listed.
How we use AI
Drafts are often written with AI assistance. Every page is then edited by hand, checked against its sources and marked as AI-assisted in the byline. We never publish AI output without reading it.
Sources and numbers
- Every claim that is not common knowledge links to a source, listed at the end of the page.
- We do not invent statistics, studies, user counts or testimonials.
- We prefer primary sources: employers, universities, government career services and published research.
Examples
Sample answers are written for the page to show a structure. They are labelled as examples and are not real candidates' answers. Names, companies and figures in them are illustrative.
Comparisons
We make Offermic, so comparison pages say so at the top, describe how we compared, and point out where another product is the better fit. We use company names as text only, never their logos.
Our AI interviewers
Sarah, Emily, Michael and Raj are AI personas. When a page describes how one of them follows up, it describes the product, not a real recruiter.
Updates and corrections
Each page shows when it was last updated. If you spot an error, email support@offermic.com. We fix confirmed errors and update the date.
Independence
We do not take payment for coverage or links. The only product we promote is our own, and we say so where we do.
